Great Sermon

Yesterday morning at church, I had a much needed sermon preached by Pastor at Good News Baptist Church, here in St. Louis, MO. His subject was "With Dreams Comes Drama".  This was one of the best sermons I've ever heard in my life. The significant factor was the timing in my personal life. Things have been a little hectic for me with relocating, tight personal finances, and small bites with new clients. My Pastor reminded us that God will show you the dream but won't give you the road map. That road map may have speed bumps, u-turns, lost clients, relocating, new business partners, people forgetting you or letting you down; drama will happen on this journey. Whatever is on that road map, it's still leading you in the direction of your dream.

Oh my goodness! This sermon was just what I needed to hear in my life. And I hope it helps you a little or a lot, too. So I decided to share a few pointers in hopes that it will inspire you not to give up on your dreams because of the drama that comes along with it! (And if you don't have a church home, you are more than welcome to worship with us next Sunday Morning @ 10am - 8850 Jennings Station Rd, St. Louis, MO 63136)

  • If God gives you a dream and then blesses you; you have to be willing to go through whatever drama comes with it.
  • Sometimes you'll find yourself saying, "I didn't know I had to go down this path to get to my dream." But in reality, God is building you up to inherit that blessing that's in store for you.
  • God doesn't give you the directions (or road map) to your dream because He is the only One that knows how to get you there.
