A friend of ours was throwing a tea party for her daughter's 5th birthday and needed a little assistance with ideas for decorating and activities. She asked us to help her out and we came in right on time. Our friend had her hands full as she was the baker, chef and coordinator for the party. We were able to go to her home and help out with the decorations and the games. Each place setting was decorated with tea cup place cards, tea cups of their own for her daughters' guests to take home with them filled with candy and hair bows, and a tea cup and saucer ready for their 'pink tea' to be served in. Each guest was greeted with a tiara for them to design and wear for the party and then were given their own pair of tea gloves.
We slipped out before all of the fun started but we had fun crafts and games lined up for the girls. One of our favorites...Hot Tea Pot (played just like Hot Potato but with a miniature tea pot halfway filled with water) and the other choice of entertainment we came up with was a Tea Bag Toss (played just like Bean Bag Toss but with a tea bags and a tea pot cut out on construction paper!)
We love helping for all events!...big and small!
